My Story

BK Photography Bobby Korman’s passion for photography began over 11 years ago when he started receiving positive feedback on informal photos taken with his cellphone camera and posted on social media. He decided to take his photography to the next level with digital photography and now uses both a Nikon D5500 and D500 with a wide angle lens for his landscapes and also a telephoto lens to capture amazing images of wildlife without disturbing his subjects. His talent for capturing that perfect moment in his wildlife subjects and in all of his images sets his work apart. Bobby’s work is influenced by one of his favorite wildlife photographer’s Thomas D. Mangelsen. He also learns from fellow photographers and a photography group but mostly he just loves wandering in the outdoors and city settings to see what he might come across. In addition to Colorado his photographic exploits have taken him to Mexico, Utah and California where he has discovered both flora and fauna as well as urban architecture and subjects. When asked why he loves photography Bobby will tell you that “finding the adventure of the unexpected and not knowing what you're gonna get” is what it’s all about. We are thrilled to present Bobby’s work in our opening show at the Gallery at the Hive Community Center and hope you will find unexpected delight in his imagery.
